Fireside Chat with Victoria Schofield

Following the success of our last fireside chat with Prof Sir Tom Blundell, we are pleased to announce that our next guest in the series will be Victoria Schofield, British author, biographer and military historian. She will speak on her postulations of current India-Pakistan challenges. Her talk will touch on both the positive and negative aspects, including the likelihood of war.

Schofield is an acknowledged expert on Pakistan and the disputed Jammu/Kashmir. A close friend of the late Benazir Bhutto, Schofield has written widely on South Asia and spent considerable time in the region, including walking across Afghanistan to get to understand the tribes. She is an alumnus of Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford, and was a visiting fellow at St Antony's, Oxford in 2004-2005.

Details of the fireside chat are as follows:

Date/Time: 7pm, Monday, 24 October 2016
Venue: 2A Victoria Park Close, Singapore 266550
Tickets: $38 for members, $50 for guests to cover food and wine

We hope that you will be able to join us for an insightful discussion, over dinner and drinks, on India-Pakistan relations. As with our other fireside chats, no refunds will be given for cancellations.
